How IdeaValidator works
Three steps, about three minutes. Here is one idea going through them.
- Describe your idea (about 30 seconds). A few sentences is enough, in English or Arabic. Add your target customer, pricing, or competitors if you know them. Example idea: a marketplace that connects home cooks in Riyadh with office workers who want a homemade lunch delivered by 1 pm.
- Answer two to four questions (about a minute). The questions an investor would ask: who pays, how you reach them, and who you're up against. Example question: who pays first, the office worker or their employer?
- Get your verdict (about two minutes). A score out of 10 across four dimensions, a clear verdict, the reasoning behind it, and the sources the research used. Example verdict: 5.8 out of 10, Proceed with Caution. Market opportunity 7.4, competitive density 6.1, execution complexity 4.2, monetization fit 5.5. Key risk: food-safety licensing for home kitchens decides whether this can scale.
How is your idea scored?
Every idea is scored on four dimensions against the same calibrated rubric. You see the reasoning and the sources behind the number, not just the number.
- Market opportunity: is there real, growing demand? Market size (TAM, SAM, SOM) and timing.
- Competitive density: who is already here, how crowded is it, and where is the gap you could own?
- Execution complexity: how hard is this to build, license, and launch with the team and money you have?
- Monetization fit: will customers pay, and do the unit economics hold up at your price?
What each verdict means
- Pass (0.0 to 3.9)
- A fundamental flaw: no real demand signal, a crowded market with no credible wedge, or unit economics that can't work.
- Proceed with Caution (4.0 to 6.9)
- A plausible idea with at least one serious open risk, like unproven demand, entrenched incumbents, hard distribution, or regulation.
- Worth Doing (7.0 to 10)
- A clear demand signal, a concrete wedge, and a viable path to revenue. Scores of 8.5 and up are kept for ideas that already show proven demand.
How is this different from asking a chatbot?
General chatbots are built to be helpful, which usually means agreeable. A verdict is only worth having if it can come back no.
| A general chatbot | IdeaValidator |
|---|---|
| Tends to agree with how you frame the question | Scores every idea against the same fixed rubric |
| Answers in open-ended paragraphs | Gives a score on four dimensions and a clear verdict |
| Research and sources depend on how you prompt it | Researches your market live and cites its sources |
| Ends when the conversation does | Saves the verdict and turns ideas that hold up into a 17-section PRD |
Researched, not vibes
Every verdict is grounded in live web research. So far that research has verified 21,700+ sources across 35+ sectors, and tracked 3520+ named competitors.
- Your data is stored in Saudi Arabia: ideas sit in Google Cloud's Dammam region, encrypted in transit and at rest.
- We don't train AI on your ideas: we don't use your ideas to train AI models, and you can delete everything at any time.
- English and Arabic, equally: both languages are first-class, right to left included, all the way to the PDF.
What's in the 17-section PRD?
When an idea holds up, the PRD turns the verdict into a document you can build from. It's written from your idea, your answers, and fresh research, not poured into a template. It ends with a decision (build, don't build, or build with conditions) and a 30-day validation plan, and you can download it as a PDF and refine it when you learn something new.

IdeaValidator Lab: validation is step one
Six AI modules that grow out of your verdict and PRD: the numbers, the competitors, the team, the roadmap, the screens, and the launch plan. Every module is a working document built from your idea, not a template. The Lab is open to every account: validate an idea, generate its PRD, and the Lab unlocks for that idea, priced in the same credits as everything else.
- Financial Model: a 3-year financial model with revenue forecast, unit economics, and a monthly P&L you can stress-test.
- Competitive Deep-Dive: real competitors researched live on the web, with battlecards, positioning, and ongoing monitoring.
- Team & Hiring Plan: an org plan with hiring scenarios, your first five hires, and GCC salary bands.
- Execution Playbook: a build-order playbook with workstreams, a critical path, and the risks most likely to bite.
- UI Mockup Pack: clickable product mockups of your core screens, generated straight from your PRD.
- Go-to-Market: channels, budgets, and word-for-word sales plays, with honest funnel math built in.

Questions, answered
- How accurate is the AI analysis?
- IdeaValidator gives you structured analysis, not a prediction. Every idea is scored on four dimensions against the same calibrated rubric, and the verdict shows its reasoning and the sources its live research used. Treat it as a hard first read from someone with no reason to flatter you, in minutes instead of weeks.
- Is my idea kept private?
- Yes. Your ideas are encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in your private account in Google Cloud's Dammam region, and never shared. We don't use your ideas to train AI models, and you can delete all of your data at any time.
- How is this different from asking ChatGPT?
- ChatGPT gives you a general opinion, and it tends to go along with how you frame the question. IdeaValidator scores your idea on four dimensions against a fixed rubric, researches your market live and cites its sources, and gives you a clear verdict you can save and share. If the idea holds up, it becomes a 17-section PRD.
- What happens if my idea gets a Pass?
- A Pass means the research found a fundamental problem: no real demand signal, a crowded market with no credible wedge, or economics that can't work. You see exactly why, so you can change the idea or move on before you spend real money. You can validate a revised version at any time.
- Do I need an account to try it?
- No. You can run your first validation right here without signing up. Create a free account to save your verdicts and get 50 free credits every month.
- What's included in the free plan?
- Free accounts get 50 credits every month. A validation costs 10 credits and the full 17-section PRD costs 50, with PDF export included. Refining a PRD is open to every plan. Attaching documents when you validate and dashboard AI insights are part of Pro.
- How do credits work?
- Every action is paid in credits: 10 to validate an idea, 50 to generate the 17-section PRD, and 30 to refine a PRD. Free accounts get fresh credits every month, Pro subscribers get ten times as many, and you can buy a top-up pack whenever you need more.
- Do credits expire?
- Subscription credits, the ones included with your plan, reset with your billing cycle: unused ones expire when your next monthly allowance arrives, anchored to the day you subscribed. Top-up credits, the ones you buy in packs, never expire. Top-ups are also where any refunds land, so they accumulate over time.
- Can I get a refund if something fails?
- Yes, automatically. If an AI step fails partway through, the credits for that action go straight back to your top-up balance, where they never expire. You don't need to contact support.
- Is it available in Arabic?
- Yes. IdeaValidator is fully bilingual in English and Arabic. The interface, the analysis, the PRD, and the PDF export all work in Arabic, with full right-to-left layout.
- Can I share my results?
- Yes. You can share a read-only link to your verdict, and download your PRD as a formatted PDF for co-founders, investors, or developers.
- What is the best AI tool to validate a business idea?
- IdeaValidator is built for exactly this. It scores startup and business ideas on four dimensions against a fixed rubric, grounds the verdict in live web research with cited sources, and turns ideas that hold up into a 17-section product requirements document. The Lab then adds a financial model, a competitive deep-dive, a hiring plan, an execution playbook, UI mockups, and a go-to-market plan. It's free to start with 50 credits a month, in English and Arabic.
- How do I validate a startup idea with AI?
- Describe your business idea in a few sentences, answer two to four clarifying questions about your market and positioning, and IdeaValidator returns a scored verdict (Worth Doing, Proceed with Caution, or Pass) with the market analysis behind it. The whole process takes about three minutes, and new accounts get 50 free credits every month.
